ABOUT US >

The Alaska Gun Collectors Association believes that our 2nd amendment right to keep and bear arms is an essential part of our history and future. We are committed to helping preserve and promote these rights by providing events where our community can view historical firearm collections, add to their own collections, and experience the power and responsibility of safe firearm use.

The AGCA has been putting together Gun Shows in Alaska for over 40 years and is proud to be the largest in the State!  We work tirelessly to bring you the best vendors and awesome historical displays. Whether you're looking for something new or used you'll find the guns, ammunition, and accessories that you're looking for. Bring your family and be sure to check out all of the historical firearms and read the stories behind them.

We are a family friendly show. This means your children will not be exposed to inappropriate materials or foul language. We host the Borealis Shooters, where your child can try their hand with an air rifle under the supervision of experienced instructors.

AGCA is also an organization dedicated to the protection of the Second Amendment, shooting sports, hunting, gun collecting, etc. To contribute to the continuing improvement of our interest, we are offering scholarships to Alaska high school graduates who are in need of help, and have academic achievement beyond the norm. We are awarding scholarships to full-time students who reside in the State of Alaska, wherever they attend college. The scholarship committee will evaluate the following:

1. Completed application form        2. Grade point average        3. Full-time enrollment at an accredited college or university. Application may be made before acceptance to a college, but payment will be made to the school’s financial aid office.

4. Interview of applicant with the scholarship committee         5. The endorsement of the applicant’s references

6. Financial need    7. High school or college transcript. If the applicant has already completed at least one year of college, a high school transcript is not necessary.
